WALK THE MOON - Tightrope
The other day, I was meandering my way through tumblr when I stumbled across a picture of some guy. He wasn’t bad looking. Whatever. So I did a google search on him and it led me to this band. After checking it out, I actually really enjoyed the music that they played. I mean, yea, it’s a little manufactured but in the month of October, it manages to still give me a summertime kind of feel.
WALK THE MOON is from Cincinnati, Ohio and was formed in 2008. Their sound reminds me a bit of Young the Giant and despite them being really pop-y, sometimes we just need some of that in our lives. The album of which Tightrope comes from is their self titled album and it’s been on repeat this whole week.
